Symbolism, meaning and effect of individual colors - Blue

In art, blue plays a very important role.

It is a natural color that expresses the sky and the sea, sensitivity and constancy in equal measure. Blue tones soothe and create harmony. Mainly, the color looks cool and fresh, as it reminds us of the sea - which seamlessly merges with the sky on the horizon.
Blue Meaning

Blue has the meaning of distance, vastness and distance. At the same time, the color has a calming effect and expresses confidence. With hardly any other color the meaning is as versatile as with blue. Spiritually, blue stands for the divine and thus at the same time for the unattainable. However, there are also negative associations such as the lie, coldness and drunkenness. The positive emotions at the sight of blue things prevail, which is not least a reason why blue also enjoys great popularity among very spiritual people.
Blue effect

Blue is a healing color, which is not without reason very often used in color therapy. The color has a calming, concentration-enhancing and refreshing effect.

Blue shades prevent hot flashes and thus cool not only the mind but also the body.
