Inscence is really something very special.
You can also smoke with individual herbs, berries, resins, flowers, etc.
It doesn't matter whether you're from e.g. For example, you can prepare a calming tea with the dried forest fruits or use the flowers for incense. It's all about the quality!
Why do we smoke?
We smoke because we want to separate the essence of the plant from the body so that it can develop its full effect.
The heat creates a transformation, i.e. a conversion into smoke, and in this new form of smoke the plant can come into contact with us.
Since man discovered fire, he has also been smoking incense.
Smoking - when the soul needs a break
Smoking can be incredibly relaxing, both physically and mentally. Dealing with our great-great-old and very own nature grounds us again and brings us to peace.
What do I need to be able to smoke?
A fireproof smoking bowl (we think soapstone or a thick clay bowl is brilliant). But please never use ceramic or glass. The heat can cause the vessels to crack quickly.
Smoking sand (also called fire sand) is added to the incense burner to protect it from the high heat.
The ignited charcoal, which is available in different sizes, is then placed on top.
Since you only place stronger plant parts such as roots, resins and bark directly on the glowing coal, I recommend a smoking sieve / smoking grid for the finer incense.
Then add the right incense and you have everything you need for your personal incense ritual.
