Circle often represents a harmoniously rounded personality, but can also indicate the need for security. 

The meaning of the circle as a magical circle, which is considered a symbol of protection and defense, can be found in almost all fairy tales and myths. Like the ring, it is considered a symbol for the whole and is a sign for the concentrated psychic power in the dream. If something can be seen in a circle in a dream, this is always of great importance. The infinite line is set in the picture either by the geometric figure itself or by a group of people standing around in a circle, a circular place or the like, - it says: The mental energy is to be held together. The circus arena, in which wild animals (read: the unbridled driving forces) are tamed, is as round as the circle. 

Anyone entering a circle is heading for a specific goal. Moving in circles warns against the tendency to fruitless brooding, which always revolves around the same topic and ultimately brings nothing.
